Dynamo Jones Dynamo Jones is an electric jazz-funk quartet featuring the classic sounds of B3 organ, electric piano, guitar, drums, and bass. The band draws much of its sound from the era of Jimmy Smith and the Meters, but draws equally on the modern jazz-funk stylings of Robert Walter, Medeski Martin & Wood, John Scofield, and Niacin. Comprised of veteran musicians David Bialos on guitar, David Kessner on keys, Greg Garvey on bass, and Phil Hodges on drums, Dynamo Jones brings together a wealth of diverse talents from many styles of music into a sublime fusion of groove and expression.
