Butch Ross
Butch Ross Butch Ross is a mountain dulcimer player, singer and songwriter from Chattanooga, TN. He is known for his innovative and decidedly non-traditional approach to this primitive folk instrument. His live shows feature incendiary playing, surprising covers (Stairway to Heaven, Eleanor Rigby, even Bach and Radiohead) and in-between song banter that borders on stand up comedy along with the use of a loop pedal to create a virtual one-man band. Though traditional music comprises a good bit of his live show, this is not folk music in any traditional sense.
