Triggers were formed on the no nonsense streets of PITTSBURGH in 2005. They quickly dominated the Pittsburgh power pop scene and after releasing their enthusiastically received EP "Elude The Suits" they teamed up with acclaimed producer/engineer John Hiler (Smashing Pumpkins, Stephen Stills, The Frogs, Danzig) to begin recording their full length album "SMOKESHOW" for Anomaly Records.

The finished result did not fail to impress. "Smoke Show is a pure blast of smart vintage power pop." "Triggers expel an effortless vocal-majority garage punk-rock tone." "Triggers play music that just drips indie-pop."

The response to SMOKESHOW has had TRIGGERS touring through the East and Midwest United States sharing the stage with Little Joy, French Kicks, and The Walkmen to name a few. TRIGGERS is working on a summer tour of the West Coast with an eye towards the UK and JAPAN in the near future.

BRETT ZORIC is the great-great grandson of Jurko Zoric the inventor of Tennis chalk.

RICH KAWOOD gained his massive drumming strength from working in a scrap yard; his sense of timing comes from his hobby of Japanese flower arranging.

ADAM ROUSSEAU was born with a second skin!

JOE KASLER can't sleep unless he has a licorice All Sort before going to bed.
