The J.M. Danrick Band
The J.M. Danrick Band The J.M. Danrick band formed in the fall of 2002. The four piece band from Pennellville, N.Y. consists of vocalist Mike Smith, guitarist Rick Barber, bassist Dan Grefrath and Drummer Jim Harris. They play primarily classic rock but they also have been know to dabble in country as well as other popular music styles. The also write and record their own original music. Mike Smith is the winner of the 2005 B104.7 Country Music Talent Challenge. Rick Barber is a two time winner of the Annual Oswego Harborfest Song Contest. Dan Grefrath owns and operates WIG Sound, a live sound reinforcement business. Jim Harris is a former student of famed jazz drummer, the late Vinnie Ruggiero. On April 25, 2009 the band will release it's debut CD. The self titled disc features 15 original songs penned by the bands creative duo Barber and Smith.
