The Maykers - A Southern California Jerry Garcia cover band were established in 1998. The Maykers began playing music together out of the love and memories of a wonderful friend and the music he shared with us all. Jerry Garcia. The Maykers have traveled to play music in many places from the south to the west including Beale St. Memphis, TN. to New Mexico to Portland Or. to Eugene OR. to Arizona to Las Vegas and all along the west coast of California with very special guests such as Martin Fierro (Legions of Mary, Zero),
The angelic voice of Gloria Jones (JGB), Tom Constanten (Grateful Dead), Vince Welnick (GratefulDead), New Riders of the Purple Sage, David Nelson Band, Burning Spear, Zero, Steve Kimmock Band, Leftover Salmon, and many others. The Maykers have enjoyed the journey and will continue to do so.
