The Man

The Man is a high-energy funk-rock quintet hailing from State College, PA that draws from vastly different influences ranging from The Meters, to Led Zeppelin, to Maceo Parker, to Jeff Beck. Catchy horn melodies are layered onto a tight, funky rhythm section, topped off by a lead guitarist who has drawn comparisons to the great lead players of the late 1960’s. The band manages to capture the energy from the funk and rock sides of the spectrum, while melting the styles together to form a sound that is all their own.... more
