Evolucid is the cohesion of 4 separate individuals with past experiences of life, music, and reality. Early signs of this project started in the fall of 2001 when Jamie Dumas and Chris Harrell started the project Funkadelic Combustion. Their sound came from wanting to have variety in a live presentation. In the fall of 2003, after 2 years of gigging and an independent release, Jamie and Chris decided to recruit Joshua Dumas for vocals and guitar.
