For over sixteen years FUNGUS has served as Western Pennsylvania's premier
jam band, featuring a tribute to the Grateful Dead and the everlasting
legacy of Jerry Garcia. Fungus specializes in recreating the festive
atmosphere that followed the Dead to each of their concerts. In addition,
Fungus shows highlight a host of strong originals as well as a full
compliment of classic rock covers.
Fungus is proud to have shared the stage with such notable artists as
Jefferson Starship, JGB, The Band, Arlo Guthrie, David Grisman, Dark Star
Orchestra, Dickey Betts and Great Southern, Vassar Clements, David Nelson
Band, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice, Commander Cody, Donna Jean Godcheaux, Zen
Tricksters, Big Brother and The Holding Company, Yonder Mountain String
Band, David Gans, Jimiller band, Scott Blasey of The Clarks and many more.
