Alan Braxe is one of the undisputed cornerstones in France's celebrated dance-music scene. His CV boasts a wealth of legendary productions, collaborations and remixes that have cemented his place in dance-music history. Alan's first artistic production, 'Vertigo', was released in ’97 on Thomas Banglater's iconic Roulé label, only to be followed the next year by one of the greatest hits the world of electronic music has ever known: "Music Sounds Better With You" Going under the moniker Stardust, this global smash owed its success to Alan's fruitful collaboration with Benjamin Diamond and Daft Punk's Bangalter, and provided the experience that inspired him to create his own independent label – the now seminal, Vulture.
It was not long before a multitude of big-name artists came knocking on Alan's door hoping to secure his unique touch on their own material. Remixes for the likes of Björk, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue and Jamiroquai are testament to Braxe's esteem and reputation within the music industry. More recently Alan has added yet another string to his bow having been approached by world renowned hip-hop MC Killa Kela to write and produce material – including a forthcoming single – for his latest artist album, to be released in August. When not touring the world as a DJ, Alan benefits from the opportunity to experiment musically and move in new directions with his label, Vulture – as evidenced by the Futurist hit 'Rubicon' – which also nurtures and provides a home for fresh and diverse talent such as Lifelike and Kris Menace – who penned the international hit, "Discopolis" – and an exiciting new English signing by the name of Fenech Soler set for May 2009.
