Sequoyah Prep School
Sequoyah Prep School Sequoyah Prep School is 5-piece rock/folk/pop band from South Carolina with a strange name and a familiar face. Since 2003, they have been explaining themselves and their band name all across the United States while reaching thousands of people with their music. Over the last five years Sequoyah Prep School has released three (3) albums and one (1) EP. With the release of their second album in 2006, the band began to actively pursue new fans by diving into a heavy touring schedule and using online communities as tools to market their music. In the last year, Sequoyah Prep School played more than 200 shows in 20 states and procured over 3 million plays on myspacedotcom. The band’s most recent album "Ghost Town" has sold over 10,000 hard copies and 12,000 digital copies in less than a year making it their most popular release yet. Sequoyah Prep School has become a favorite on college campuses across the country and had the opportunity to play at several schools including Belmont University, The Citadel, Centenary College of Louisiana, Clemson University, Coker College, College of Charleston, Lipscomb University, and Winthrop University. They have shared the stage with several national touring acts including artists such as Anberlin, Better Than Ezra, Cool Hand Luke, Corey Smith, Jupiter Coyote, Phantom Planet, Quiet Drive, and Umbrellas. Currently they are continuing to tour while preparing for their fourth album, which will be released sometime in 2010.
