If it's truly organic, it makes me feel good.
Multidimensional Media Artist, Painter, Poet, Singer, Dancer, Performance Artist, Author, Web Designer, Research Specialist...
Born in NYC, 1960, adopted at 13 months old, against my mothers will. I never saw her again. I too had a child taken against my will. Fortunately, my case changed the law, and I found my son and we are close, thanks to the www.
California called me home in 1979, where I found my true love and my natural father. This was possible after I spent three weeks, as the first female roadie with, Frank Zappa, in NYC, 1977. I was the Dancing Fool, at 31 shows, either on stage or in front of it.
I was turned on to organic food and found myself at home, dancing with the Grateful Dead. In 1980, I spun and the spinners were born. And so was my beautiful, daughter Venus, organically, lotus birth style, on the beach. It all happened so fast, 20 minutes.
In 1983 I wrote poetry, songs and posters and created a school for Venus, in Santa Cruz, CA. As a performance artist, I put together a multidimensional media experiment for one year called, Psycho Schizoid, written mirror sighted. Upon which I spun my poetry into watercolors. Due to the fact that I had many deaf fans.
I got deeply into painting with gouache and developing organic living and having an organically born, beautiful son, Mars, at home with midwives, naturally, Lotus Birth style.
I created the Bethezda Foundation, designed to teach people to be quality partners as well as parents, in 1989.
In 1994 I took on a job renovating a building to turn it into a school for my children. At the time I was not aware of toxic building materials and all the nasty chemicals used in the building over the years, nor the asbestos. I got sicker and sicker during the year I worked there. I needed medical attention, but could not get insurance and had to take on another job to get the money for a doctor. I was given trichloroethylene to clean the desk tops in another school. Which caused a cyst to burst and put me in the hospital DOA, when Jerry Garcia died. I survived with ER surgery.
Found my true love once again in Tempe, where I found myself at home with the Noodles, in 1998, when I also became a web designer, developer and enviro-health expert.
Now that my children have flown the coop, all I can do is teach and promote organic awareness, via, art, music and mega-love.
The project, Global Organic Awareness Festival, and you are all invited to join me in my mission.
