The Big Ol' Nasty Getdown

Big Ol' Nasty Getdown was formed in November of 2007 by John Heintz, John-Paul Miller (Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band) and Derrick Johnson (Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band and Asheville Horns). The idea first came about during a Galactic, Lee Boys, and Papa Grows funk jam in Copper Mountain, CO in April 07. There was an energy that was captured that night while everyone from all three bands just locked into their groove.
