Julie Black is one of the most exciting new female vocalists in the Blues & Jazz genres. A resident of the Tampa Bay Area, she has been singing since she was a child growing up in the rural area of Illinois. Her musical taste was defined early in life, when she fell in love with Solomon Burke's 45 record Cry To Me. By the age of twelve she was crafting her own songs, a skill that flourished into adulthood.
