The 21st Century Dreamtime Lions was formed in November of 2006 by friends Timothy Riggs and Benjamin Weiss. The two had been jamming together for over a year at a weekly Friday night improv session hosted by their mutual friend Ryan Overly. Upon recognizing an uncanny similarity between their musical tastes and goals, the pair began an intensive 9 month span of writing and composing that resulted in a string of shows in late 2007 and early 2008.
