Salad Bar Jam
Salad Bar Jam SBJ was formed in October of 2006. They've played over 30 shows all over the midwest. Originally the band consisted of Brian King on vocals, Stevie Leck on lead guitar, James "Chong" Vanderhoof on rythm guitar, Thomas Leck on drums, and Bret Knight on bass. Shortly after the band formed they added Travis McMahon to lineup to play Keys and Organ. Just a few months after recording thier first demo, they decided that a lead singer was not necessary and said thier goodbyes to Brian King. After playing in this format for about a year Stevie Leck moved to Springfield. Shortly there after Bret Knight took over on lead guitar. To fill his shoes on the bass they would call in long time friend Justin "JDub" Wehner. In March 2009 they discovered Cassie Alexander and she quickly made herself a spot in the band with her electrifying vocals. Stevie would sit in with the band on and off at the lead guitar postion until July of 2009, he became a permanent fixture. Soon after this, the band would let Chong go. They are now based out of Springfield, MO and are working most weekends in surrounding areas.
