D3 formed in 2007 when three guys with similar backgrounds met each other a long way from home. Darren Fisher (drums) made the westward migration to Portland, Oregon from Massachusetts in the summer of '07. Keyboardist Chris Phillips moved to Portland in 2006 after an exciting musical journey through the Chicago area, southern Illinois, St. Louis and all over the Midwest.
