Playing together since 2003, the Shameless Strangers have undergone many changes since their inauguration and feel like they have finally discovered their musical Identity. Hailing out of Upstate New York, The Shameless Strangers have entertained thousands at Hot spots including: Higher Ground In Burlington Vt, Nectar's, The Perfect Wife, and 20 Main with their original blend of jam, jazz, and pure rock. Inspired by an array of artists from the Dead to Camper van Beethoven, they have developed a sound totaly unique yet catchy enough for the masses to appreciate. As this Band evolves, They continue to become more focused and driven towards success. The next year will prove to be pivotal with the anticipated release of their first album(expected in early Spring of '08)followed by their first tour. Check back for shows in your area.
Cody Reid, A committed rocker and Funk stylist, holds down the beat, while Will Scheifley and Mike Dashnaw Rock out in front of Bill Bougill's wailing drums. Meanwhile color man Dan Gallagher, lays the melody with his infectious keyboarding and Kevin Duprey fills in with his country twang and bluesy guitar riffs.
Their satiric lyrics point out life’s humorous shortcomings that everybody is sure to relate. The shameless stranger’s music is designed to enlighten as well as entertain.
