Telestrion
Telestrion Telestrion are a four piece heavy psychedelic rock band whose sound is a fusion of timeless riff-rock with modern freak out sensibilities. While their influences certainly shine through in their sound, Telestrion offer a modern, fresh approach that is uniquely their own.

Telestrion's self-produced debut album, due out October 9th on the band's own imprint, Electric Mind Records, was recorded over two weeks in October and November 2006 in Kennesaw, Georgia. Don Tart (Cee-Lo, Blackberry Smoke, Jackyl) and Jeff Tomei (COC, Jerry Cantrell, Smashing Pumpkins) shared engineering duties while Jeff handled the mixing as well. The band laid down 11 original songs during the sessions as well as a cover of Pink Floyd's "Astronomy Domine", a staple of their live sets.

Telestrion was formed in Atlanta, Georgia during the summer of 2006 by Andy Samford (guitar, vocals) Brian Holcomb (guitar, vocals, theremin), and John Smith (bass) after the demise of Qualone, a group Andy and Brian had helped form several years prior, of which John was also a member. Andy was also the main creative force behind Plaster, a band who received accolades from the underground stoner rock scene in the late 90's. Talented Louisiana native Chris Stewart (drums) helped Andy out on some recording sessions and was soon recruited into the new group. The band is excited, energized and ready to introduce their brand of rock 'n' roll to the world.
