Jug Dealers
Jug Dealers Jug Dealers hit the road in '05 as an authentic old time jug band, wowing festival audiences and listeners, and even receiving a spotlight on NPR's All Things Considered. Over the next three years they recruited some of the best talent from the SF Bay area, adding more conventional instruments and rapidly evolving into a larger, more sophisticated act. With a mash-up of Classic American Roots, Soul, Improvisational Jazz, Hobo Funk, and Ragtime, their audio brews are steeped in tradition, yet continually forward looking. Pushing the boundaries of modern music while paying homage to the past, the Dealers bring a freshness and relevance that appeals to audiences of all ages and genres.

After years of sharpening their skills in studios and on stages with acts including Melvin Seals JGB, The everyone orchestra w/ Steve Kimock and Michael Kang, 7Walkers, Hot Buttered Rum, Poormans Whiskey, Hairy Apes bmx, Dead Kenny G's, and many more, Jug Dealers recorded their self titled debut album. The album features legends Barry Sless (pedal stael), Brino Ism (whiskey box, vocals), and Danny Eisenberg (keys). Since the release in April 2011, the album has garnered much praise and rave reviews from industry insiders.
