Yogoman Burning Band
Yogoman Burning Band I, Jordan Rain started YOGOMAN BURNING BAND off the trails of the previous group I was in called Alamo Social Club, which got my songwriting process started and helped me realize which musical direction I wanted to head. I have always played drums and sang since I was a youth, but only started singing live for folks with Alamo Social Club. I decided I didn't want to have to sit behind the drums and sing (as well as haul them around) and I wished to connect with the audience more directly through strictly vocalizing and dancing. I am a pretty social animal and so I naturally wanted to be closest to the people I am playing for. I have a stellar band and I'm excited for the present and future of YOGOMAN BURNING BAND whichever shapes it takes. It will be positive and fun, hopefully nurturing for the dancing feet and all-souls.

To manifest my desire to sing and dance I started YOGOMAN BURNING BAND with the musical expertise of Stell Newsome (Sweetheart of the Rodeo/David & Goliath) on Guitar and vocals, BenJamin Wildenhaus (Federation X, Quelude County Country Band, Party Favorites, etc..) Keys and Norah MacGlaughlin (Alamo Social Club, Kitty Kitty and Flamenco Pacifico) on Vocals and Percussion, Dan Lowenger(Foot Stompin Trio, New York Jimmy and the Jive Five) on guitar, Thomas Akihiro Deakin on Tenor Sax, John Sampson(Bar Tabac) on Trombone and Joel Ricci(La Push) on the Trumpet is the current line up. I want to give a special thanks to the fellows from Captain Seahorse Revenge Upon Humanity who helped me get the band off the ground and were in the first incarnation of the group Captain Seahorse is Joe Miles- Sax, Isaac Weiser- Bass, Andrew Clarke- Drums and Tyler Clarke- Guitar.

Look out perpetrators, I'm gonna make you work hard for your money!!! Love, Justice, Peace, Integrity and Joy will be coming your way via sweat from this band, I gaurantee it. It's time for people to be open and honest with each other, no longer fearing communication nor community with one another. For me it starts in my day to day interactions and on a bigger scale manifests locally, nationally, internationally, and universally through the musical message and medium. ONE.
