The Latham Band
The Latham Band A long time ago, hidden somewhere in the recesses of the Northeast Kingdom, two eclectic individuals calling themselves Mike and Joe came into being. Not long afterwards, Joe began summoning the powers of above to channel strange noises through himself and out of a Fender Strat, with Mike "holding it down", as it were. When they blossomed into ripe adults, they migrated northward to the heady town of Burlington, Vermont, where they quickly met a sensitive male named Zach who was also familiar with channeling and Fender Strats. After learning how to repeatedly rip a bass guitar a new one, they joined forces and called themselves The Latham Trio, with band headquarters on Latham Court. It wasn't before long when a creepy Floridian boy came up to Burlington and saw the band perform, as well as sat in on keyboards for a handful of groovy tunes. After the jam, Jared, as he is now better known, decided to leave his cesspool of a community in Tallahassee, Florida, and moved to Burlington to complete The Latham Band, ready to climb the hill. Since August, they have increased their bank of original music to include new crowd favorites like Meteor Remote, Woods, A New State of Mind (Revisited), and The Whole in Your Eye. The skill and improvisation grows as fast as their fanbase and repetoire, and there is no better group of musicians around that is willing to do everything the audience is asking for and more. When you want to bring the noise, bring The Latham Band. Boo Yah
