Cornelius Frontman Keigo Oyamada adopted the stage name Cornelius from the film Planet of the Apes after originally gaining popularity with his group Flipper's Guitar in the Shibuya-Kei music scene in Japan. Cornelius' music is based on strong electronic progression and a delicate balance between harmony and dissonance.
