Sweatshop Union An MC collective based in Vancouver, Sweatshop Union was formed in 2000 by a trio of groups -- Dirty Circus, I.B.S. (Innocent by Standers), and Creative Mindz -- plus solo rapper Kyprios, who all wanted to cut costs and improve efficiency. They self-released their self-titled debut, then watched the buzz take over and earn the album a second release on Battle Axe, the label run by Mad Child from Swollen Members.
