Petra Haden currently lives in Los Angeles where she is working on her next solo a-cappella record recorded by Justin Burnett. Petra Haden and the Sellouts, (her choir) have been learning new material and playing local shows around Los Angeles; the choir mounted an East Coast tour in the Fall of 2006. That Summer Petra joined The Foo Fighters for an acoustic world tour where she played violin, and sang backing vocals – as well as taking lead vocals for "Floaty" – and she appears on the live album and DVD releases from the tour.
