The Soft Parade
The Soft Parade Internationally recognized as one of the most authentic, realistic tribute bands today, The Soft Parade has toured over 20 countries including the US and Canada. They have a huge following in Germany, Holland and France and they are one of the only tribute bands to successfully tour Israel. The Soft Parade began performing convincing recreations of The Doors shows in 1990. The highlight of their career, so far, happened in France when The Doors own guitarist Robby Krieger joined them on stage. It was a treat not only for The Soft Parade band members, but also for the sold out crowd of 2000. They also have the distinct honor of being the only tribute show to be invited to perform at the 2003 Bonnaroo Festival and the Woodstock 25th Anniversary Festival. The Soft Parade consists of Morrison look-alike Joe Russo on lead vocals, Vic Ruiz on drums, Mike Abel on keyboards and Joe Bilotti on guitar. The NY Times sums up The Soft Parade best, “The Soft Parade’s show is so eerily convincing, often causing the audience to temporarily suspend it’s disbelief.”
