Brothers Donovan (AKA dReAmSwell) is originally out of Short Beach, a neighborhood in Branford, CT. The band started out as a bunch of high school hockey players and friends calling themselves Half Step. They made their first demo tape in a garage in the summer of '99 before the world was supposed to end with Y2K. The band went from high school to college where they moved to Coventry, CT to set up shop in a house by the lake where they attended UConn and Eastern CT State University.
