Ane Brun is the uncrowned singer-songwriter queen of Scandinavia. Since her stunning debut Spending time with Morgan in 2003 she
has been pulling full houses on her frequent tours in Europe and winning
numerous of musical awards.
Her second album A Temporary Dive was again recorded
together with the producer Katharina Nuttall. Much of the album's content
is a reflection of the year that followed the release of the debut Spending
Time With Morgan. A year filled with both ups
and downs.
Despite generous offers from several major record companies,
Ane chose to release her album on her own label DetErMine Records - licensed
to V2 Music.
Since the release of her debut album Ane has played more
or less 150 gigs throughout Europe and shared stage with great artists
such as PJ Harvey and Mary Gauthier.
Other highlights in 2004 were; her live performance with
ex-ABBA member Benny Andersson at the Anna Lindh (Sweden's greatly missed
minister of foreign affairs) memorial concert in Stockholm and the title
"Best New Guitarist 2004" by the Guitar brand Martin.
