King For a Day (CT) King For a Day is a new band from Connecticut that is creating quite a buzz on the local scene. Founded in late 2005, the band consists of Danny Labich on Vocals, Randy Funke on Guitar, Benj LeFevre on Bass (of DBB fame) and Kurt Bergland on drums. Danny's powerhouse vocals in addition to a strong rhythm section create an authentic sound which some have called "the truth!" The band formed when none other than Terrapin's own Bob Kennedy said to Benj and Danny, "call Randy, You guys ought to get together." Well, 6 months and 30 original songs later, King For a Day made its debut appearance at the Acoustic Cafe in CT. and for everyone there, the deal was sealed. Most recently, the band has released 12 recordings called "Greatest Hits Vol. 1" and plans to keep the hits coming!
