The Tony Hume Collaboration, version 2.0

This three piece live organic electro funk project is one of an experimental nature. Set lists are created on the spot, with improv'd jams flowing in and out of eachother on lush carpeted soundscapes.

The talents and forces of guitarist Tony Hume (formerly of the Orlando, FL based touring band Kynda) and electronical wizard Justin Schroeder (of the Miami, FL project Morsetoa) melded together in the spring of 2006 as a base in which to create live electronic based funk. A year later, in the spring of 2007, multi instrumentalist Smurphio, keyboard player from the popular Miami based afro cuban funk project Suenalo Sound System, hopped on board with his 80's synth bass and lifted the sound of v2.0 to new heights.

Much like a set a DJ would spin, THCv2.0 focuses on creating improvisational dance enducing electronic soundscapes by combining the upbeat phunky "jam" type vibe of electric guitar, a computer driven arsenal of aural strafing by a quasi-evil CPU alchemist, and dance happy, ass-shaking synth bass!
