Beck Hall has been playing bass for the last 17 years, and has transformed into an unusually well rounded musician. He has taught electric bass for the last 8 years and continues to dabble in all types of music. Beck has significant stage experience in many different genres including Jazz, Funk, Rock, Bluegrass, Composition, Trance, Electronica, and almost all forms of Improv. At a mere 24, he continues to perform with incredible musicians from all over the country. He plays bass and sings for numerous bands such as The Stop, Looney Mill, Crista Galli , Reckoning, and one of his solo projects, High Fidelity, all mostly focusing on different types of funk/fusion and some with a dash of Electonica taboot. He is also a popular DJ known as DJ Bustamite, incorperating his bass playing with his computer, effects, and loop pedals for a one man electronic experience with a big sound all its own leaving many fans calling it Progressive Funktronica...
For the last 7 years Beck has played with countless musicians on countless stages, from The Festival Circuit to clubs all over the Country. He has shared the stage with Victor Atkins (World Renound Pianist, previously an Instructor at Loyola Music School in New Orleans), all of Oteil Burbridge's band The Peacemakers (Matt Slocum, Chris Fryar, and Mark Kimbrell), Perpetual Groove, The Pnuma Trio, Moonshine Still, Green Lemon, Downright, Meteorite, not to mention the many world renound individuals he has had the pleasure of playing with, such as Billy Martin of Medeski, Martin, and Wood.
