Moxie Motive
Moxie Motive 2007 was a groundbreaking year for Moxie Motive. The band finished their first self-titled, self-released EP and toured the east and west coasts throughout the summer. After an in-studio performance at KEXP, DJ John-In-The-Morning blogged “the guitar player in that band is one of the best I've ever seen” and listed the group’s debut release as one of the top 5 EPs of the year. The band’s sound traverses a large dynamic landscape of hard-hitting indie roots rock and beautifully introspective acoustic ballads. At the center of it’s power are the honest, affective vocals of singer-songwriter Matt Duhaime and the roof-splitting leads of guitarist Joe Darnaby. The band is currently in Chicago working on songs for a full length album.
