Liquidious was formed in 2005 as a creative outlet for singer/songwriter Dave Hanlin. Called to action because of Hurricane Katrina, the first show was a benefit show at the now defunct Rhythm Room in Houston, TX with the Psychodillo's and The New Birth Brass Band who had evacuated New Orleans a few days earlier. In 2006 Liquidious performed live extensively in the Southeast Texas region. They hosted and produced a Summer concert series that year for the Heritage Society in Katy, TX to much acclaim.
