Betsy Franck and her Bare Knuckle Band debuted on the scene in Athens, Ga. In October 2002, with a five song bluegrass acoustic EP. Slow pedal steel rifts, and sweet vocal harmonies characterize this early effort. Then in January 2003, Betsy and the BKB went into John Keane Studio’s and came out with an electrified, and amplified seven song album. With help from friends like fancy fiddler David Blackmon, there is definitely some bluegrass, mixed with those same soulful vocals, and a little bit of honky tonk.
