We are The Lumber Truck, a four piece jam band, (rhythm & lead guitar, bass, drums, percussion, two lead singers and four part vocal harmonies), from the Scranton/Clarks Summit area. The Truck has only recently been together, but with a growing fan base and a creative drive this band cannot be stopped. The Band members are all in their early twenties, and have been playing music on and off with each other since high school. The Truck plays all over the northeast part of Pennsylvania. Out west the Lumber Truck captivates their audience’s with its non-stop energy and its fresh creative original music.
The Lumber Truck has over 30 original songs cutting across many musical genres. We always incorporate great rock and roll songs spanning the decades since its incarnation into our set. Our original music is an eclectic mix ranging from bluegrass to reggae to Rock and Roll insanity and everything in between, complemented by tasteful vocal harmonies and the occasional acappella vocal jam.
We currently have an eleven song L.P out called The lunatic is at the wheel. The CD is enjoying extensive air play on 102.3 the mountain, Kings College radio, Marywood’s 91.5 station and the university of Scranton’s 99.5 The band has opened up for some very popular national acts such as, The Zen Tricksters, The Breakfast, and Bad Fish.
