What began as a radical chemistry experiment between 3 struggling scientists in the spring of 2005, quickly evolved into the band now known as "11 Ounces." But even as the band began to test their theories in the local bars of St. Petersburg, their experimenting continued. As the summer turned into the fall, the band struggled to find the right mixture of hydrogen and oxygen molecules to complete their experimental substance. There were moments of frustration, transcendence, break through...and of course the occasional fit of reckless, drunken abandon.
Today these experiments continue, but now with an expanded and more firmly established administrative base, the group has began to experience more consistently pleasing results. As dedicated scientists, they pledge to continue evolving this unknown substance. So although constantly weighing in at 11 ounces, you will never know quite what to expect if you choose to step foot into their traveling laboratory.
