Turtle Soup's special blend of jam rock, funk and dance music is no longer New Jersey's best kept secret, thanks to winning Top Jam Band and Top Groove Band at the 2007 Asbury Music Awards this past November.
Not only are they excellent songwriters, but dazzling musicians as well. Fun, catchy hooks, complex arrangements and sweet grooves fuel their improvisations.
This band combines exceptional talent and professionalism to create a memorable show. This pays off, and they've been quickly gaining steam. In the past few months, they've played with Blues Traveler, Paul Rodgers, Marshall Tucker Band, Foghat, Little Feat, Dark Star Orchestra, RAQ, and The Breakfast.
Turtle Soup first released the single, "5 Minutes Left" through KGB/WEA Latin in 2006. The video "Liquid, I Said" was played in over 5 million homes across the US..
Their debut EP is to be self-released in December, 2007.
