Alabaster Brown
Alabaster Brown Alabaster Brown is an original rock/alt country band from St. Louis, Missouri. The band's down-home style comes from its incorporation of elements of roots rock, alt-country, bluegrass, midwestern and cajun styles of music into their own unique sound, the Trademarked, "Mississippi Mud Stomp." One thing that makes Alabaster Brown unique from the many other artists on the scene today are its highly evocative and well written songs that are performed tightly and with a high level of musicianship.

Formed in 2005 Alabaster Brown has played venues through the country including Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, Colorado, The Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colorado, The Mishawaka Amphitheater in Fort Collins, Colorado, repeatedly at festivals such as Wakarusa, Summercamp, Schwagstock, Springjam and many others. Alabaster Brown has also been fortunate enough to tour with and feature Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon and Great American Taxi, as an honorary member and front man of the band. AB has also shared the stage with such artists as the Drew Emmit Band, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Garaj Mahal, Brothers Past, members of Particle, members of The String Cheese Incident, and many others.

Alabaster Brown continues to refine their rootsy sound as well as craft their own songs, which feature well written lyrics, strong song craft and are a mix of Americana, Rock, Bluegrass and Alt Country. In 2010 the band began working on a follow up record to their 2008 self released album,"Mississippi Mud Stomp."

Alabaster Brown is known to consistently provide a high level of professionalism and maintains a very respected status amongst its peers, music promoters, and talent buyers throughout the country. The band continues to grow and evolve into 2010 and beyond and looks forward to playing in new parts of the country and bringing new fans into it's constantly growing fan-base.
