One Track Mynd was formed when two friends, Steve Robson and Kurt Weidlein, were tired of hearing the same cover songs everywhere they went to see live music. They figured the whole purpose of music is self-expression and group mind. It is difficult to do this when you are playing other peoples music the exact way they wrote the song. That was the bands basis and what created their unique style of original music. The band will perform some cover songs but perform them in their own style. Giving every live performance something special for everyone involved.
The band is comprised of Kurt R. Weidlein (Guitar/Vocals), Steve Robson (Guitar/Vocals), Vince Bahorik (Bass), Jason Stiffler (Drums), Friends of OTM: Ron Cooney (Drums), and Michael Murphy (Percussion).
