Alan Evans (of Soulive) Like the famous garage infamously known as the Snake Pit in Detroit or the movie theater turned recording studio in Memphis, the once country barn now known as Playonbrother Studios is an unlikely location for a recording studio. Like the aforementioned studios, when you walk into POB studios... you know something special is going to go down.

Playonbrother Studios was originally built as a commercial studio and has recorded/mixed many great artists. After Alan recorded Soulive's debut RFR release Up Here, his studio has become production HQ for Royal Family Records.
