I grew up in Western Massachusetts. Music and dirt biking was my life for a long time. I left in 1972 to attend Beloit College in Wisconsin for a couple of years. In 1974 I was talked into going to Guam where I joined my first band; a 7-9 piece horn band called Bamboo. We played clubs around the island for a few months then I returned to the states and moved to Boulder Colorado.
