Natural Breakdown is a band on a mission. Combining a wide variety of styles and elements, Natural Breakdown blends rhythms and melodies ranging from Indian classical music, Latin jazz, bluegrass, folk, fusion, psychedelia, straight up rock and get down funk. Formed in 2003, the band’s lineup consists of Eric WaldMan (keys, harp, vocals), Vinnie Smith (drums, percussion, vocals), Dan Farella (guitars, vocals), and Gene Lantigua (bass, vocals).
Natural Breakdown is primarily focused on using the principles of NADA YOGA to channel healing through notes and words. Each member has studied eastern philosophy, and brings a unique perspective to a very modern musical sound. Ask anyone that has attended a Natty B show, and they will tell you it is all about vibe.
Natural Breakdown has become one of the pre-eminent bands in the central jersey music scene by tapping into the vast fanbase of local colleges and clubs, and is poised to tour as often as possible.
