Anastasia Rene

Anastasia began singing at the age of 6, at first studying voice privately with Jerry Bragin. She continued to sing throughout junior high school and high school, going on to earn a degree in African & African American Music at SUNY Old Westbury. After college, she returned to private study with Kirk Nurock. She has performed as a member of several groups in rock, jazz, folk, pop, funk and worldbeat, in such prestigious venues as The Village Gate, The House of Blues, and Jordan Hall.
