Seth Horan
Seth Horan Seth Horan left RCA band Vertical Horizon in 1998, on the brink of multi-platinum success, and decided to play his songs alone on his bass rather than pick up the acoustic guitar. Why? To push the envelope; to see how far mainstream acceptance goes; to explore new sounds in a market that becomes more homogenized every day.

But most importantly, he did it because he has been a bass player since he was 12 years old, and he really sucks at guitar.

With a blend of fingerpicking, slapping, tapping, harmonics, and chording to accompany his voice, to say he plays the bass like a guitar is a vast understatement: he plays it like a dulcimer, a drum set, a harp, and a xylophone all at the same time.

Horan has just released *Clang & Chime*, a full album of songs he produced along with sixty-nine of his fans during a five month email & feedback process. The result is his finest work to date.

Believe it. You need to hear this.
