Aural Elixir is a lyrical, multi-genre concept deeply inspired by the rich musical textures of New Orleans. Aural Elixir was established in New Orleans in 1996 by eclectic singer-songwriter-pianist Jesse Holt. She is classically trained in piano & voice, however it was the influences of Jazz, Frank Zappa, Joni Mitchell & New Orleans that inspired Jesse to experiment with songwriting.
