Toni Price grew up singing in Nashville, Tennessee. A gig at Antone's Blues Club at SXSW in 1989 brought Toni to Austin, Texas, for the first time. The town won her over immediately. She relocated to Austin and quickly became known as "the toast of Austin." To the consternation of her record label, she seldom leaves.
