Ethan Keller is a singer, songwriter, and son-of-a-preacher-man.
Born and raised in and around Milwaukee, Ethan has made a living playing music around the Midwest, and U.S. and survives with originality in tact. Genre diversity and crossover ability are one of his signatures. Playing a wide spectrum for over a decade, Keller utilizes folk, rock, and jazz guitar styles, while his youthful baritone voice and poetic lyrics naturally dive to spiritual depths. Every show is unique, thick with groove, and full of meaning. Witness some of Milwaukee's living musical legends performing and touring with EKG.
Whether it is recording at home or a famous studio in L.A.; performing for fifty jazz club patrons, hundreds of youths, thousands of festival-goers, or millions live on national TV; playing the biggest cities to the smallest towns; seeing the country from the inside of a mini-van or a tour bus; the Midwest bloke has traveled down innumerable crazy roads. In 2009, Ethan toured 13 states.
Ethan Keller's full-length 2006 debut, "Face Light", garnered critical praise, and 2008's "One Way" EP digital sales continue to accelerate. Having sold over 10,000 records, and played over 30 states, Ethan relentlessly perseveres; always performing, recording, and creating what a listener once called, "music with a purpose." The new album "Profit," produced by Grammy winner Ted Greenberg was released spring 2010.
