The Sputter This sums it up: In autumn 2003 The Sputter was born out of experimentation. They began playing live in early 2004 at clubs and bars around colorado. Influences include, but are not limited to, Coltrane, Monk MMW, JFJO, Mike Clark, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Pink Dots, E.S.T., Herbie and Miles. Yet The Sputter has invented a sound all their own and they call it electocosmicjazz. They test the limits of sound with powerful improvisations as well as tightly knit acidic grooves, which allow each show to be a completely unique experience. Do not miss a single one.
