You really have to see it to understand. I think we're like a live anomaly. It's happening out there. There are all brass groups out there. There are gimmicks out there. I'm a gimmick guy... my bands are going to be something different,” said Vince Howard,drummer. With a strong foundation in two essential elements of American culture, jazz and hip-hop, 2Bass3 is constantly pushing towards blurring the genre lines between the two. Infusions of funk, jam, soul, R&B, dub and electronica brew an eclectic sound that is soaked in rarity, while still maintaining focus on the vivacious improvisation of old-school Blue Note jazz.
