Formed in the Fall of 2002 by Adam Brooks Dudding, BuckTown KickBack (BTKB to their friends and fans) has blazed an impressive trail through the richly diverse Americana landscape from Ohio and the Midwest to Nashville, TN with their Alt.Country/Bluegrass/Folk-Rock originals.
Headlining concerts and opening up for the likes of Alabama, Junior Brown, Railroad Earth, Todd Snider and Stacey Earle, Dudding and his band electrify listeners with their live performances and studio recordings, both showcasing intelligent songwriting and incredible musicianship.
Their debut album Speakeasy(2005) was embraced by Americana radio and hit high marks on the Americana charts including a #1 on the Roots Report Folk Airplay chart. Songs from that album have also been licensed for nationally syndicated television soundtracks including PBS’s Roadtrip Nation.
“LOST IN YOUR OWN HOMETOWN (due out this fall) pushes up the tempo a bit more than their laid-back debut release; with a little more percussion, a little more soloing and a lot more of Dudding’s songwriting…the images are still there, sometimes haunting, sometimes playful and sometimes self-effacing, working to paint a portrait on a lyrical canvas that is only enhanced with a delicate guitar strum or a cooking banjo lick.”
