Biography Critics have been hailing TRUMYSTIC "as single-handedly transforming the future of reggae" (~Stowe Reporter, Mike Schaefer) and their latest release Dub Power is "an album that's instantly enticing but gives up more rewards with each listen." (~All music guide) With the power of the press, their community and sheer will, TRUMYSTIC keeps bringing their powerful music to the people.

TRUMYSTIC is a 6 piece live dub alliance, on the cutting edge of modern music. With vocalist Kirsty Rock at the helm (as heard on Dub Side of the Moon & just released Radio Dread) partnered with bassist and co-founder Reggie Hodges (High Fidelity Dub Sessions #3), drummer,Craig Santiago (Acorn), resident sound scientist, Dept. of Dub, accompanied by Duane Och on organ and Tony Calarco on sax they deliver a ridiculously skilled and exciting musical experience.

What TRUMYSTIC brings to the stage is an uplifting new sound to the reggae world. Incorporating dub essentials, dancehall, hip-hop, soul music and even some genre-bending, skank-infused riddim rock. With honesty they convey politically charged lyrics, which deal with social issues among different walks of life, accented by beautiful vocals, solid as a rock rhythm section and a truly blazing brass sound.

The band is touring in support of Dub Power TRUMYSTIC's red-hot experience has gained so much appeal from the fans they've now had the chance to share the stage with a broad and diverse group of artists including Jimmy Cliff, Black-Eyed Peas, Culture, Cypress Hill, Jungle Brothers, Sugar Minott...

"We have a lot to say", explains bassist Reggie Hodges "It has been such a busy year but it is important that we do this recordïng" "Recording Paradise is the most fun TRMYSTIC has had in the studio to date. The songs are great and the vibe of the band couldn't be better."says vocalist Kirsty Rock. The band intends to release a single "Fool For Your Love" With special quest dave Gutter from Paranoid Social Club/The Rustic Overtones There is also a collaboration with Jahboo & Session Rockers (Virginia Beach). This politically and socially charged record is due out winter 2008

TRUMYSTIC's MISSION

"WE WANT THE PEOPLE TO CELEBRATE, TO FEEL INSPIRED AND TO BE INSPIRED OURSELVES. WE ASPIRE TO DELIVER A MESSAGE OF AWARENESS AND HOPEFULLNESS." ~Trumystic

This has to be my choice for dub album of the year. Heavy where it should be...plenty of meditational melodies...and the voice of Kirsty Rock! If you loved the siren wail on "Great Gig in the Sky" from "Dub Side of the Moon", "Dub Power" will simply dub you c-r-a-z-y.... ~Dr. Strange Dub KFAI-FM
